Enviroscapes Northwest’s success in greenroof construction is rooted in our experience and knowledge of greenroof technology and horticulture, coupled with our relationships with leading landscape architects, architects, general contractors and roofing contractors. Client Focused
We use a client-oriented methodology for design-build and retro-fit extensive greenroofs. Each project begins with an evaluation of the client’s specific objectives, potentially including stormwater management, energy savings, improved aesthetics and creating rooftop greenspaces, or satisfying site development requirements. After evaluating client objectives we suggest which greenroof systems are best suited the the project and the client’s budget. The design is then developed to address specific rooftop conditions like roof pitch and drainage, and the location of mechanical systems. Post installation considerations like greenroof and rooftop maintenance are also factored into the design. If technical challenges arise we can’t overcome ourselves, we have resources that can help us tackle the problem.

Enviroscapes Northwest does not represent or advocate one greenroof system or manufacturer over another. Rather, we understand that each type of system, field-planted, vegetated mat, or modular, may be the optimal choice depending on project objectives and budget. Enviroscapes Northwest installs the leading greenroof systems of each system type, so whichever is best suited to the project we have an industry-leading solution we can confidently install.
Value Added
At no extra cost Enviroscapes Northwest will take the lead in preparing applications for public grant funding if it is available for a client's greenroof project. While funding is never guaranteed, we know the programs and project evaluation criteria very well, and we have successfully assisted other clients in getting maximum funding for their greenroof projects.
Enviroscapes Northwest typically includes one year of post installation greenroof maintenance in our base greenroof construction proposals. The reason is simple, we have a very strong interest in client satisfaction and building successful greenroofs. When we maintain the greenroofs we install through their first growing year the likelihood of their long-term health, beauty, and functionality is dramatically improved. Besides the fact it’s one less thing for our clients to concern themselves with.
